  205.  single tasking benchmarks, commonly used to analyze systems, are obsolete
  206.  and misleading in a multitasking environment.

  208.  OS/2 2.0 uniquely defines concurrent I/O capabilities that can signifi-
  209.  cantly enhance normal desktop or server performance and capability.
  210.  Since DOS and Windows presently restrict most I/O to sequential opera-
  211.  tion only, these capabilities are best exploited on many current Micro
  212.  Channel systems.  Micro Channel architecture's superior ability to
  213.  support OS/2 concurrent I/O activity is shown as a dramatic performance
  214.  improvement over a similarly configured ISA system.

  216.  The second part of the program focuses on how concurrent I/O activity
  217.  impacts overall system efficiency in Micro Channel and ISA systems using
